deleting messages from inbox

First off, I am not an expert IT person, so please respond in elementary
language.

I have outlook express 6 and received a message that caused it to lock up
and not respond. I did ctrl, alt, del and sent a report to ms and followed
all the steps that were recommended. I still cannot click on that message
nor delete it. I was finally able to leave the message that came after the
bad message in the inbox and I could receive and send messages as normal.
Now a new problem has occured and I can't delete any messages from any folder
at all. The deleted items folder is empty.

If someone has any suggestions as to what I can do or if you need more
information, please let me know.

Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This one is not for OE, which is part of
Windows, not Office. But you can try the Outlook fix first--Select File, Work
Offline, Delete the bad message. Not sure if this will work with OE.
