deleting Internet Explorer add-ons

hi guys , i have a partypoker add on and have disabled it but it is still
causing problems, is there anyway to delete it for good

Have you tried Add/Remove programs from Start...Settings...Control panel? I
see where going that route may still leave behind desktop icons and an entry
in IE's Tools menu. To get that latter item....

In order to remove the Party Poker shortcut that appears in your Tools
Dropdown menu: You need to go into the registry (START/run then type
regedit) then navigate down for this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Click through each one of the obscure sub folders in there and you will find
Party. Right Click, Delete. It will be gone next time you start IE.
