Jill

I need to delete a hidden file but each time I try, it
says it is being used by another person or program.
Everything is closed. I don't know how to close it if I
don't know how it's running or what it's used for. The
file is within my music folder and is preventing me from
copying my folder. The file is called _msl.lock. I am at
a loss. PLEASE help. Thanks

Jill, go to Start>Run type: Msconfig Click on Diagnostic
Startup>Apply>Ok. Reboot and do a search for the file you
want to delete and see if you can delete it.

I tried that but it came back when I switched back to
normal startup. This is driving me nuts! Any other
suggestions?? Thanks.........Jill

Boot into safe mode F8 in safe mode search for file,
delete.
Hope this helps.
