deleting file in the explorer window...

I am stumped....I can't delete two specific files that I just created. It is
an "mpg" file in a Windows XP o/s. I always get the message window
titled "Error Deleting File or Folder". The message is, "Cannot delete
show.mpg: Access Denied". "Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use". The attribute of the file,
using the
windows explorer, is not "Read Only" or "Hidden". I tried everything, I
can't
seem to delete the file. My computer is a stand alone without any "uer
login".
There is no login security in my workstation....

Any ideas????

Thanks,
Fred

I sometimes have this issue. Try restarting the computer and then deleting
the file.

Restart the computer to safe mode (Restart and keep tapping f8)
Log in as the administrator, then delete it from safe mode
