Deleting fields from table

Why can't a field be deleted from a table when there no relationships? I
have gone to the relationships window and removed the connection. I have
also removed the field from all queries and forms, but still get the message
that its 'Part of one or more relationships'. What could I be missing?

If you "go to the relationships window" and "delete" a table, you aren't
actually deleting the relationship. The <Show All> button will reveal that
the table and relationship still exist.

If you've highlighted the relationship line and deleted that, but still
receive this message, here's something that might help...

Open the Tools|Database Documenter (or might be under Analyze), set the
options to show relationships, and print out the documentation for the table
in question. This should show you any relationships the table participates
in.
