Typo in field name

I have a typo in a field name; the database is in use and has been split. I
tried to delete the relationship and edit the field name but received this
error." You can't delete a relationship inherited from a linked database". Is
there a way to unlink the database make the correction then relink?

Richard,
In which .mdb file did you try to change the relationship?
Realtionships for a BackEnd/FrontEnd (aka Data/Prog) should be done from
the Data file.

Hi Al,

I was trying to make my changes from the FrontEnd, until I ran across this
old post by Duane Hookom. After opening the BackEnd MDB I was able to delete
the relationship to the table I needed to modify. Then I restored the
relationship and it seems to have done the trick.
