Deleting entry in Desktop wallpaper list

Hi,
after getting to the "Display Properties" window " in order to change
the desktop wallpaper I select " desktop" from the options and the list of
wallpapers comes up. Does anyone know how to delete entries off this list? I
have tried to find a way without success and would appreciate your help in
solving this problem.

Go to "C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper" where "C" is you're main drive, and delete
them from there.

Some of the patterns may be bitmaps in "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32", but be very
carefull deleting anything from there.
