deleting emails

I can no longer delete emails that are in the "in box" or are in the
"deleted" folders.

What changed that prevents me from deleting these emails?

How can I fix the problem?

After furious head scratching, Dale asked:

Microsoft Outlook 6.

I do not get an error message.

I can delete individual messages now, but not in mass like I used to be able
to a while back.

I feel like a setting has been changed.

No such thing. Do Help-About and tell us whether you have Outlook or Outlook
EXPRESS.....
