Deleting emails

Whenever I get a message to my inbox and want to delete the email it gives me
a message stating that Microsoft Outlook has encountered a problem and needs
to close. I have to then restart microsoft outlook and then it will give me
message saying how it was incorrectly shut down and data may be lost. Every
time I hit delete to trash a message in the inbox this occurs. I am running
Microsoft Outlook 2002 and have an antivirus on my machine that is not
detecting any viruses. Can anyone lend any suggestions?

What is being logged to the Event Viewer?
Clear your Deleted Items folder and scan your pst-files for errors.

Source: Microsoft Office 10, Type: Error, Event ID: 1001 Fault bucket
394684337.
Event ID: 1000 Faulting application outlook.exe, version 10.0.6822.0,
faulting module q.dll, version 5.0.419.0, fault address 0x00075893.

And I'm not sure if AutoEnrollment has anything to do with this but it is
also throwing an error Event:15 Automatic certificate enrollment for local
system failed to contact the active directory (0x8007054b). The specified
domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.
Enrollment will not be performed.
Deleted all in the deleted folder, now going to scan for further errors.
Thank you for your help!

Sounds like you're running eTrust from Computer Associates as your virus
scanner. You might want to look for updates on it or disable its integration
with Outlook completely since it is redundant anyway.

Roady,
No, eTrust is not on my PC.
What are the format/option alternatives that I should check?
Thanks.
