Deleting Distribution List

When I delete a Distribution List, is each Contact in the list deleted from
the Address Book?
 
Since there is no information ever stored in the Address Book view, your
question is confusing. Nor do we know if the members of the DL in question
have underlying records in your Contacts Folder or just exist within the DL.
If you created the DL using Contact Records that exist in your Contact
Folder, the Contact Record will not be deleted when you delete the DL.
