I'm having trouble deleting cookies from ie6.
Knowledge Base article 278835 says to delete the individual cookies from the
Temporary Internet Files folder. It says that Cookies in this folder are
only `pointers' to the actual cookies, which reside in c:\Windows\Cookies\.
It says that when I delete the pointer in Temporary Internet Files, the real
file in c:\Windows\Cookies\ will be deleted as well.
I've been faithfully deleting cookies from the Temporary Internet Files
folder, however, I've noticed that the associated cookie file in
c:\Windows\Cookies\ is not being deleted. This folder is now very large.
1. Is Microsoft wrong is saying that I only have to delete the pointer? or,
2. Is this problem only happening with me?
