Deleting Cached email addresses

I have a user (the CEO) who has several email addresses pop up for one
individual. Only one of the addresses is correct. I have arrowed down and
deleted the incorrect addresses, but the addresses have returned. I have had
him clear his cache, but the addresses have returned. How do I permanently
delete these incorrect addresses?

Thank you.

Are they in a contact record? Alternately check to see if his NK2 file is
marked read-only. It's a long shot but possible.

Where do I check to make sure the NK2 file is not marked read-only?

Open Windows Explorer and enter the following in the Address field:

%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook

Click Go. You should be able to see the NK2 file, especially if you have
disabled the hiding of known file types. Right-click, choose Properties,
and you'll see a read-only attribute check box. If it's checked, it's
read-only. Uncheck it to allow for writing.

I believe I've figured this out. I have deleted all references to the 'bad'
address in Outlook, however I believe he still has the 'bad' address on his
Palm, and every morning when he syncs, it brings the bad address over.

Thank you both for helping the thought process along.
