Hi,

I am using outlook 2003 to download messages from an ISP via POP3 that
i no longer subscribe to.
This ISP allows me to download messages from my old address only (i
cannot send thru this account).

My problem is that 2 messages recently arrived with "read" responses
requested, like an idiot i just clicked accept without thinking!

Now Outlook has 2 "read" responses that it is CONSTANTLY trying to
send back to the sender thru this account that is not able to send.

Is there anyway i can make "Responses" visible within the Outbox &
therefore delete them or anyway i can just delete the 2 i have?

I have tried deleting this account from outlook (problem goes away)
but when i recreate the account again it starts trying to send them
again :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Don't delete the account, try a new mail profile.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply

If i create a new profile by coping the old one, it has no effect.

Are you suggesting i have to create a new one from scratch & type in
all my account details again & then transfer all the mail from old pst
to the new one?

You can create a new profile from scratch and re-use your old PST. No need
to create a new one. Just point at your old one when adding the "Personal
Folders" service.
