deleting aol files

I see on the Registry a lot of AOL files. I din't use AOL for at least a
year, I am not planning to use it anymore.
It would it be safe to delete so many AOL files from the registry?

Yes, only under one condition, do you use the AOL Instant
Messenger? If so then be careful, because those registry
items may be associated with the messenger.
