Ryan, open Windows Explorer and make sure the Status Bar is enabled (View |
Status Bar). Highlight the file and wait for the description to appear in
the Status Bar. It may take a bit, but will say something to the effect of
"Type: Video Clip Date Modified 1/5/2004 2:59am Size 500MB". Once that
appears, you can delete the file and it shouldn't complain.

There is an .avi file on my computer that I dont recognize, so I tried to
delete it. An error message pops up that says "Cannot delet file. It is
being used by another person or program. Close any programs that may be
using the file and try again." I closed all programs and the same message
pops up. I made sure the file wasn't playing in any programs and I still get
the error message. I get the error message if I try to move the file also.
Anyone know how to get this off of my computer?
