Hi I'm getting a new computer and giving my old one to a friend. I wanted to
delete all my files off the computer, but leave the programs I've installed
on. Is there any way to do that without having to look in every folder to
make sure I've got them all?

Thanks!
Frances

Nope. Not really. You could just reformat, wipe the disks completely clean,
and do a nice clean installation and install any required/liked applications
after that for them.
