Is there a way to get rid of the Administrator account? The user account has
computer administrator rights now. (administrator account actually has the
same password).

Or is the option to transfer all the settings to administrator and delete
the user account. What's the best way to do that so something isn't missed?

Thanks

No. What problem is this causing?

No, you cannot delete the administrator account. Why
would you? Just enter an impossibly long password
(supercalifragilisticexpialidocous), then forget this password.
The admin account will now be unuseable . . .

Then you need to keep it.
In case of problems, the Administrator may be your only way out.

It is not possible to delete an in-built administrator account. You can
only delete an account with administrator privileges when the account
has been created from new.
