Deleting "Access Denied" Files

Joe Kennedy

I restored my family pictures onto my new computer using
Microsoft Backup, and now I have unwanted folders and
files which I cannot access. The MS Knowlege Base lists
this as an administrative permission issue. My old
computer crashed and is down. All I want to do is delete
these folders and files, but I don't have access.

Is there anyway of removing these files?

A person ( Bruce Chambers )gave me this refence about
taking ownership of folders and files. May work for you.
Go to the adress and follow the instructions if ya wanna
try it. I had encrypted folder on my system and got
control of them but the data within them unreadable due to
encryption. This may work for deleting them.
Good Luck to ya.
