To remove an AutoComplete entry from a Web form, highlight
the item in the AutoComplete dropdown and press the Delete
key.
That is what I thought, but it does not work for me. This is a
login to my library webpage. When I drop down the list and
highlight the wrong username (actually the ID number) and press
delete, it does not delete it - which is why I was asking in case
I remembered the instructions wrong. If, instead I right click on
the wrong password to see if there is an option to delete it, it
just inserts it.
I also tried the "BK SP" it did no better than when I clicked on
DEL.
Don't know what is wrong. I'm using XP Home SP-2

When I log in on a certain website I enter my user name and
password - which my Windows XP Home system saved for me.
Now that I've changed my username and password is there a
way to delete the wrong one which keeps coming up and
confusing the situation?
Thanks.
