Deleting a Windows 2000 Domain Controller?

D

_Daniel Sullivan

Hello~

Basically, I have a domain that has two domain controllers. I really screwed
one of them up, so I reformatted the drive and re-installed Windows 2000
server, and re-added the domain controller to the domain. I named it a
different name than it had originally. When I go into Active Directory Users
and Computers, the old domain controller still appears in the Domain
Controllers folder. When I try to delete it, I get an error that says
"Unable to delete DSA Object". Is there any way to remove this old domain
controller from the domain completely? Thanks.
