Probably dumb question, but...do you have any ZoneAlarm programs installed?

No, is sort of installed itself. When I call up my firewall on my cable
virus protection program this comes up. It is an offer to buy. I do not have
it installed but it sems like it has to be there somewhere or it would not
come up on my desk top at every log on period. I called Zone Alarm people
and they were supposed to email me how to delete it off my system and they
never did. To talk to someone on the phone it costs me money and I didn't
ask for the stupid program anyhow.
I hope this helps you to help me.
Thanks,

Click 'Start' then 'Run' then type msconfig in the box then hit enter.
Click the 'Startup' tab in the window that appears. Look for any item
that pertains to Zone Alarm Pro and uncheck it (them). Restart when it
tells you to then check the box in the new window that appears after
your desktop starts. Be sure to check the box!

If you don't see anything in msconfig pertaining to Zone Alarm Pro then
try going to 'Add or Remove Programs' under Control Panel and see if
there is an entry there. If so, just Remove it.

Good luck,

Thank you Homer.
I have already tried to add or remove program but it isn't a program since
it is just an offer, or is it? I tried to go to internet on control panel
and it is not listed there either. Tried to view files and delete all
cookies and files and that didn't work either.
Word to the wise about Zone Alarm virus packages - they haven't been any
help and they charge you to talk to them even if you buy their virus
protection program. Beware!
My cable company states they can't get rid of it since they do not know what
it is named ZA or something and they do not know it's properities.
Very frustrating.
I will try what you have suggested. I am just short of throwing it out the
window. Ha Ha!
