Hi, i want to delete a file - which is in the windows\speech folder, called
playlib.dll. because it is infected with a virus.

But i cannot delete the file, as it is being used by a windows process. how
do i find out which process it is being used by so i can stop that process
and then delete the file.

I also tried in safe mode, with the same result.

can anyone help.

Hi

That doesn't seem to be a Windows file. What was the name of the virus that
your system was infected with?

Google gives no hits on that file which is suspicious and suggests it
could be part of the malware itself. It doesn't seem to be a valid file.

Have you done a thorough scan for malware with a combination of programs
in safe mode?
