Deleting a duplicate personal folders file

I have tries to delete a duplicate personal folders file according to the
instructions from the help section. When I right click the personal folders
properties tab and hit the advanced button I get a message saying that 'the
operation failed, object could not be found' so I can not complete the action
of deleting the duplicate file.Does anyone know how to either fix the
advanced button to get the missing object or another way to delete the
duplicate folder considering that the 'close personal folders option'is not
available to me?

Try going through Control Panel-Mail and removing it there.

I tried it but it just took me back to the same place.I am I doing something
wrong?
