Deleting a duplicate Personal Folder

Hi.

I have Outlook 2003, and I had an issue where I mistakenly sent a message
with large attachments via my Hotmail account that I access with my Outlook,
and it took me awhile before I was able to remove the message stuck in my
Outbox.

Anyways, during the course of the remedy, I guess I somehow created a
duplicate Personal Folder (don't know if it's actually there or if this is a
ghost). Now, I am unable to get rid of it. I see it on the left hand
margin, as well as when I enter the edit window for email accounts (under
"Deliver new email to the following location" dialog box, Personal Folders is
listed twice.

I tried following these directions, but both sets of Personal Folders are
still there. When I right click on that folder, the option to delete it
will NOT highlight - preventing me from deleting it.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

You cannot delete or close the main folder. Try right clicking on & closing
the other one--don't delete it just in case you need to reopen. You can move
anything to the main folder. Maybe the other folder is damaged. Look up Inbox
Repair Tool in Help. BTW, you won't be able to use Outlook or OE for Hotmail
much longer unless you pay a monthly fee for the Premier acct.
