How do I delete a 1394 Connection? I got stuck with this connection after mistakenly running the Network Connection Wizard. I do have an IEEE 1394 port on my laptop, but it is never used. I only use my ethernet port which is connected to a router, then to a DSL modem. I don't network to any other computers either. The delete option is grayed out for the 1394 Connection in the Network Connections control panel. So how do I get rid of it then?

On what premise do you offer this advice. The connection will
just return on the next reboot.

No point in deleting it... since you CANNOT remove it from the notebook, the
device will be reinstalled next bootup. However you can DISABLE it!

Instead of deleting it, just select Disable for the Connection
instead.
