Deleteing a Block of Text

I am going crazy trying to find the option that will allow me to delete a block of text without the system prompting me for verification each time. As it is now, each time I highlight a block of text to be deleted, I press the delete key and the system propmts me - - "delete block (Y) (N) ?" I want to delete the text as soon as I hightlight it and press the delete key

"Tools", "Options", "General" TAB. Uncheck the two WordPerfect options and
it will be fixed!

Go to Tools > Options > General and clear both checkboxes that mention
WordPerfect. See
