I have the same problem as a lot of other people. Where I lost wininet.dll
either because I deleted it manually or it was delted in the virus scanning
process after I got a virus. There are a lot of good answers to fix this
problem, but remember it just takes me to my background with no icons or
taskbar. So I know I read a couple solutions that say you can fix it through
ctrl+atl+del, but when the virus disable task manager. Everytime I press
ctrl+alt+del, it says Task Manager has been disable by my administrator (I am
the only user on the computer, so I don't know how it happened). Is there any
other way I can get this file back on my computer? If not, is there anyway I
can get all my files off of that computer so I can get a new computer?
Becuase there are a lot of files on that computer that I need. Please Help!
Thanks!

I'd simply load up safe mode and expand a clean copy off of an install cd...
but that's my approach. :)

Yeah, the same problem you posted Yesterday under the same subject !

Execute; sfc /scannow

You answered my question and You gave me the code: Execute; sfc /scannow
I'm not good with computers. Where do I enter this at? The only way I can
get my computer to run is in safe mode. The wierd thing is that when it is in
safe mode, there is another user on there that isn't me and it's the
administrator, but I am the administrator so I don't know why there is
another user name. When I load it in normal mode the other user name isn't
there.
But basically the only thing I can get into is in safe mode and I can get
into administrator. In fact, it is the only way I can use ctrl+alt+del
because in my user name it says task manager has been disabled by my
administrator.
So where do I enter this code?
Please help! And thank you very much!
