The following is the information that I sent to Microsoft help and they
suggested that I see if someone out there in cyber world could assist me
because they could not.
- A brief description of the issue, which you are experiencing: the sound
device does not seem to be a part of my programs anymore. I think that it
was accidentally deleted.
- What are the error messages do you receive? Please specify the exact error
code or message if any. Windows Media Player cannot play the file because
there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device
installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it
might not be functioning properly.
- Which Windows Operating System are you using? Please specify the exact
edition of you copy of Windows Operating System. (Example: Windows XP
Professional / Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit Edition)
Microsoft Windows XP/Home Edition/Version 2002/Service Pack 3
I accidentally deleted my sound device (I think). I no longer have sound.
HELP!!
Thanx
