Travis <

A couple weeks ago I did a spy/ad-ware scan and deleted some files
from my computer. I may have deleted something I wasn't supposed to;
regardless, this is what has been happening since then:
Every time I restart my computer, the 'Search Assistant' and
'Quicklaunch' toolbar items come up in my taskbar. I never use them,
and they take up space in the taskbar that I like to have for browser
windows when using my computer. I can easily turn them off by right
clicking the toolbar, going toolbars, and unchecking the search
assistant and then again for the quicklaunch. But, every time I turn
on my computer I have to do this again, if I want that space. It
isn't a big problem, but I'd like to know how to permanently turn
them off, especially since they were permanently off up until that
short time ago.
