Deleted software on WIN 2000 ME

Janey

Aloha,

I was deleting some software on my computer (Windows
Millenium Edition, 2000) and mistakenly deleted some
software component that was probably integral to the
processing of graphics.

The background I had on my desktop was of the open ocean
with many different shades of blue -- now, it's about
several different shades of grey.

My desktop icons are now huge and it looks like some
remnant of the 80's.

When I view pictures, they lack any sharpness or detail.
My computer can't process more than several shades of
color (grey, red, etc).

What can I do? Any help would be appreciated!

Janey:

Are you sure you have the RIGHT news group ?

WinME (Windows Millennium) does NOT equal Win2K (Windows 2000).

WinME is the last of the Win9x family and Win2K is a NT based OS.

I think you want the News Group: microsoft.public.windowsme.general
