deleted OE icon HELP!!!

I previously had my IE, OE, as a few others in my quick launch tray. Then
the OE and IE icon was back on my desktop, I looked again and my quick launch
tray was empty. I clicked on the OE icon and pulled it down to where the
quick launch tray was and I thought it was over. I look at my tray again and
its not there. I prefer it there so I don't have to go to the actual start
menu. Is there a way to get it back on my desktop and does sound like a
computer problem. Thanks for reading

Make sure your Quick Launch toolbar is enabled.
Do you know how to create shortcuts on your desktop?
You should be able to drag onto QL toolbar. Watch cursor to see if it is
allowing icon to be dragged.

You can manually add shortcut to Quick Launch by using Windows Expolorer
(My Computer).
Go to : C:\Documents and Settings\"Your Account Name"\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Will dispaly current shortcuts, if any. Then create shortcuts ie right
click, New, shortcuts. Browse for "C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe"
You can do this for anything you want to appear in QL toolbar.
