Deleted My Documents folder...

Some how I had a copy of My Documents folder in my
recent files. I deleted it and not the whole thing is
gone. Not in the Recycle bin. Will a sys restore bring
it back. I havent done anything else to the computer,
iee reboot etc.

Hi BillD,

Question: Did you delete My Documents folder from the Desktop? Did you
delete My Documents folder using Explore? You may have just copied the
Desktop Icon and not the actual files.

Open your Control Panel. Click on Display using Classic View. Now click
Desktop. Click Customize Desktop. Look under Desktop icons. See if My
Documents is checked. If checked, uncheck it and click OK. Now click Apply.
Reopen Customize Desktop. Check Desktop. Click OK. Click Apply then click
OK. Close all windows and look on the Desktop. Click on My Documents folder
and see if the files are there.
