Deleted mail account

I am using a PC running XP Pro and Outlook 2003 SP1. The machine has been
used in an office until 2 years ago, so it still has Outlook with Exchange
at the time included in a Msft Small Business Server 2003 (?) package.
I am using this computer stand alone, and have been adding new e-mail
accounts from several different ISP´s whose messages (In and Out) were all
visible in the same Exchange main mail folder in Outlook.
A few days ago, someone deleted the Exchange account, saying it wouldn´t be
necessary anymore since all messages were getting in through other e-mail
accounts. Doing so, all messages were gone as well as Contacts and Calendar.
Now I can only see old messages archive folders (*.pst).
I would like to go back to the old config or at least to be able to get the
information lost messages. Would it be possible? How? Thank you.

Hello Bikerider,
Partially Yes you can retreive the e-mails provided if you configure your
exchange server account again as all your settings will be stored in the
exchange server and once you provide with log in details , you retreive the
data back automatically , if not manually. If you have lost the log in
details this workaround will not be in handy.
Hardware technicians can again do their bit in retreiving from server.

I doubt that there is anything on the server. Since the machine got out of
the office it most likely has lost its connection to Exchange as well. This
means that he only has a local cache which could not update to the server
anymore. So all newly added items were only in the cache file. This has most
likely been deleted when he deleted the account. So, unless you made a
backup of the ost-file, you're out of luck.
