Deleted Items

An Excel spreadsheet of mine was accidentally deleted by
a member of my family when showing my nephew how to hit
shift + delete to bypass the recycle bin. This was
yesterday. I am still in a state of shock. Is there
anyway to get this back? I tried system restore, and
nothing.

PLEASE assist me if you can.
