Deleted items from Inbox and Calendar

Please help! Outlook 2003 is automatically deleting items older than 7 days
from my Inbox and Calendar. They are not being archived, just deleted. I have
tried the inbox repar tool without success, also unable to use a restore
point in Windows. Any advice or information is greatly appreciated - thank
you!

Check the view you are seeing - maybe it is not showing you old items but is
not deleting them.

Are they in the Deleted Items folder????

Thank you Judy - I had not thought of changing the current view.
Unfortunately, it did not work. I had already checked the deleted folder
without success.

You could try resetting your views as they get a bit confused sometimes.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Thank you again Judy, I tried changing views but no success. It seems that
stuff has been selectively deleted - some folders are completely gone, some
have a few emails. Plus, everything in my calendar is gone too. It's really
weird!

take care, and Happy Thanksgiving! :)

Let's go back to the beginning then - have you had a look at your
Autoarchive settings? Tools | Options | Other | Autoarchive. That's the
only place Outlook can be set to auto delete old stuff.
