Deleted Items folder will not empty

As the subject line says, I cannot delete the content of my deleted items
folder. I have tried all the fixes suggested in help and nothing changes, the
contents of the folder just keep growing ever larger. Does anyone knoiw how
to fix this?

I did all that, and no change at all. I was about to begin the uninstall
process, but then thought I would first try deleting one message manually -
via red x on toolbar. That worked, so I tried Ctrl A to select all messages
and then delete by red x - and that worked too, all cleared. Something you
may want to try adding to your suggestions, as the edit route and
right-clicking folder route didn't work.
