deleted files

A user deleted some documents from his computer, but he
didn't use the recycle bin. We need to restore these
files. Any ideas on how to restore them?

You might be able to recover them using utilities you should be able find
through a google search. However ... 100% recovery is almost impossible and
the more you continue to use the disk the lower that percentage becomes. If
you are serious about this you should have STOPPED USING THE DRIVE AS SOON
AS IT WAS KNOWN!!!

Actually, if the OP stopped using the drive, his chances for
recovering the files are much better than "almost impossible". I'd
call the chances "pretty darned good" for 100% recovery. As you know,
though, the more disk activity, the higher the chances are the file(s)
will be overwritten, and at that point it does become "almost
impossible".
