Deleted Files Folder

My computer used to delete all mail sent to this file automatically when I
shut down my computer. Now it will not. It will not even delete the
messages when I click onto the "Empty Deleted Items Folder" under the Edit
Button. Any ideas as to what the problem is??????

A fix as been released by M$ to resolve the problem of undeletable mails:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"
