Deleted-File Reappearances

R

Roberta Gallant

Hello. My name is Roberta Gallant and I reside in
Concord, New Hampshire. I own a personal computer
at my apartment. In it, I have the full version
of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition. Before, I had
the upgrade version of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition.

I have a problem. When I delete unwanted files,
they always reappear! For example, I deleted
C:\WINDOWS\system32\osuninst.com, and it reappeared.
What should I do about this frustrating issue here
now? I need your step-by-step help. Okay?

Please email me back regarding this situation above.
I anticipate hearing from you. Thank you for your
prompt attention and reply to my very important email
message.

1) If you have further questions, please use one of the WinXP newsgroups.

2) What you've run into is Windows File Protection. The Windows\System32 directory is one
of the ones protected. This is to keep you from crashing the system by deleting needed
files.
