deleted emails

i have deleted several emails but now i can't delete them out of my deleted
file. how can i fix this??

Apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

In Windows Mail, undeletable messages are often due to interference from
antivirus programs. What is any antivirus programs do you have, and have
ever had a Norton or McAfee antivirus program on that computer, even if
it was one one the free trial versions that often come already installed on
new computers?

For a temporary fix, download and install this hotfix, with Windows Mail
not running:

Although it's labelled as for mail stuck in the Outbox, it also works in
other folders. If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version
of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit versions first.
The Vista SP1 update includes this hotfix and more, but takes longer
to install.

in your windows email go to edit, there is a spot that says empty deleted
items folder. Hope that helps you all
