deleted a hotfix

my boyfriend deleted a hotfix from the pc and does not know which one it was.
i geuss there was alot of them... now the hard drive doesnt work.

Depends exactly what you mean by 'deleted a hotfix' and exactly what you
mean by 'the hd doesnt work'

Hi,

Deleting a hotfix would not cause the hard drive to not work. It merely
would require you to download and install again to keep up to date. Are you
seeing an error message? What does it say?
