reinstall it until I delete Windows 2000. Can anyone help?

Here is a simple step-by-step procedure that helps you
make what is probably the biggest single mistake that
you will ever make in personal computing:

1. Get a boot disk from www.bootdisk.com
2. Boot your PC with it.
3. Type this command: fdisk.exe
4. Delete your Win2000 partition. You will, of course,
lose all data stored on that partition.
5. Create a FAT32 partition.
6. Set it to "active".
7. Reboot the PC with the boot disk.
8. Format the new partition.
9. Install WinME
10 Get used to frequent crashes, lousy multi-tasking,
total absence of security which are the hallmarks
of this home-type operating system.

I am in total agreement with Pegasus... Don't do it!
However if you feel you must...
I would suggest using partition magic to create a new FAT32 partition on
your HDD and storing all your data files on that partition while carrying
out the above would be a good way to preserve your data.
I'm not saying WinME will recognise the partition (it should...) or that
WinME will do anything else you would expect... But it might be a useful
tip.
Best of luck.

Hi!

If you must do this, don't go with WinMe. Get a copy of Win98 Second
Edition. At least it will be mostly stable and perform well.

...... PLEASE.... we BEG you NOT to do this to yourself ! ! !

(The best place to install winME is into the recycle bin... )
