delete subdatasheet from splitform

I am trying to create a split form with subdata sheets on the form portion
only, not on the datasheet half. Can anyone tell me how to remove them from
the datasheet portion.
 
I'm not sure what it is you are trying to say here. Do you have a form where
you want to place a splitform on? That's not going to work. The splitform
cannot act as a subform.
 
If you create a split form with subforms on the form portion, you can also
access the subform in the data sheet portion via the "+" . I don't want to
be able to access the subformfrom the datasheet portion only the form portion
