Delete, Reinstall corrupt Pagefile

After reading and following the Nichols article on Virtual Memory it is possible I have a corrupt Pagefile.
Unfortunately he does not cover the steps to find, delete and reinstall the Pagefile.sys, also what one does on the reinstall.
I would be grateful for assistance on this.

Open System properties,advanced,settings,advanced,change button.Select
C: drive,select no page file,click set 2X,close out,restart computer.Back in
desktop,you can do either/or open defrag and defrag C:,or reopen system
properties,advanced,select C:,select,"let windows manage" then click set 2X
close-out.If you did all proper,youll get a "create new page file in C:",and
you must restart computer to take effect.You should defrag before.

If I set no page file how do I set 2X? Everything is blanked.

I am most grateful for Andrew E's response to my question and to the time that the experts give to dealing with such questions.
However I have been attempting to find out clear directions as to a solution to the problem of correcting the corrupt pagefile for four days in this group and, after an initial response, it seems that experts give up on my question and/or questions as to clarification on their response.
I realise that dealing with people such as myself is an onorous task but it would be appreciated if someone could help me out on this problem.
