delete recyle bin

My sister says she deleted her recycle bin.
Is it possible to delete recyle bin in Vista? If it disappears, how can it
be restored? In XP you can show it on desktop thru
Properties/desktop/customize desktop. How is this done in Vista?

You can start Control Panel, then Personalization. Just below Tasks, click
on Change Desktop Icons. Place a check mark back on Recycle Bin and click
OK

Yes, the recycle bin can be removed from the desktop. To restore it, right
click the desktop, select personalize, in the left pane select "change
desktop icons".
