Delete old email automatically - IMAP - Urgent!

We use Outlook 2003 as an email IMAP client (so, without Exchange). We
would like all mail older than 6 months to be automatically deleted. There
doesn't seem to be a way of setting up a rule to do this, as the only option
I saw was to just delete email received within a certain timeframe, and that
would have to be changed constantly to keep up with the 6 month requirement.

I saw another website that claimed under Email Accounts/View or
Change/Change/More Settings/Advanced Settings that there is supposed to be a
"Delivery" section where this can be set. However, my Advanced Settings tab
does not have this Delivery Section!

So, does anyone know any way of setting this up? Thanks.

What about Tools>Options>Other>AutoArchive?

Hi Brian,

Yes, we thought of that, but...that would keep these archive files on the
people's pc's and we'd have to create some network policy to go through and
delete them.

We were hoping for a more efficient solution. :)
Thanks.

Autoarchive doesn't have to save messages. It can delete them. Did you
bother looking at the autoarchive selections?
