Delete key is gone crazy!

Hi
When I use the delete key it has started doing really odd things like
inserting the no. 5 or 6, going to print preview page or opening up a help
page. My arrow down key has also started doing odd things like inserting b
or n.
Any help or advice on how to sort this out would be greatly appreciated.

Try a different keyboard?

It's a labtop so that won't work but thanks anyway. The down arrow key is
also rotating my screen to the left or the right too so not sure if I have
altered the function of both the delete and down arrow key in some way?...

Sounds like a sticky ALT or FN key... Any chance that there's some dirt in
it, or a spill?

I haven't had this in a long time, but occasionally my PC would act like I
was pressing SHIFT or ALT...To fix it I would tap the shift, then alt then
Windows key - each one at a time - on both sides of the spacebar. It seemed
like the OS thought I had pressed or was still holding one of those keys
down. Once I presses the keys, it realized that the key was now up.

Try your On-screen keyboard and see if that also has a problem.
Start>All Programs>Accessories>Accessibility>On-Screen Keyboard.
If not, they your keyboard needs cleaning.
