Delete Items on Windows Mail

I have a issue to delete my mail in the delete folder.

I clicked on Edit then on 'delete items...' But nothing happens

It is one heck of a task to delete one by one Need to delete all at once.

Any help will really help

Microsoft has a fix for that problem:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941090

Although the article only mentions Outbox, the fix will enable you to
delete 'stuck' emails from any folder.
