Delete inbox

I am trying to delete my inbox and recreate a new one. How do I do this
I searched for .pst and .mbx and .dbx files and none exist. What fil
extension is it

Outlook uses .PST files. If you're using Windows 2000 or XP, enable
searching within hidden and system folders and you should be able to find
all .PST files.
