delete history????

I have been trying to delete the history from ; internet
option>general>clear history button.
I have cleared my files,and it still remains. I can
individually select and delete one ata a time.

But is a real PAIN! to do it that way.

I created a shortcut to "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local
Settings\History" and have it in a special cleanup folder. I go in daily
and open the folders until I see the HTML links to what has been saved and
select them all (ctrl+A), then delete. Leave the folders alone as I'm not
sure it's safe to delete them yourself; they'll clear on their own.

There is a freeware utility, Empty Temp Folders, that will take care
of your history, cookies, temporary internet files, and more
(automatically or manually, with the option to save wanted items in a
permanent area). I've been using it for a couple of months and like it
very much.
